Monica K. Campos, DVM

Owner/Veterinarian

A Colorado Springs native, Dr. Monica Campos graduated in 1997 from with a B.S. in Microbiology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2001 from Colorado State University. Following vet, school Dr. Monica returned to the Colorado Springs and has lived and worked in the area for 15yrs. In 2014 Dr. Monica purchased Ridgewood Animal Hospital. Dr. Monica is very active in the local veterinary community currently serving as Board President of Harley’s Hope a local non-profit helping pets with medical needs. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Colorado Veterinary Medical Association and the Colorado Springs Area Veterinary Society.

Dr. Monica likes to fill her free time traveling and spending time with friends, family, and her beloved dachshunds.

Tabitha

Practice Manager

With over 23 years of experience in the veterinary field, Tabitha brings a deep passion for animal care and client service to her role as Practice Manager at Ridgewood Animal Hospital. She takes pride in supporting both pets and their owners, ensuring every visit is a positive and welcoming experience.

Tabitha enjoys all aspects of her work—from assisting in day-to-day operations to building lasting relationships with clients and their furry family members. Her commitment to compassionate care and smooth clinic operations makes her an invaluable part of the Ridgewood team.

Outside of work, Tabitha loves spending time with her family. You’ll often find her cheering on her daughter at sporting events, enjoying a weekend camping trip, or relaxing with a good book.

Brooke RVT

Lead Veterinary Technician

Brooke is originally from Northern Colorado and joined Ridgewood Animal Hospital in 2015. Brooke has always loved animals and decided to pursue a career in the veterinary field, accomplishing that goal in 2010 when she graduated with her certification as a Veterinarian Technician. Brooke is an active foster for Wild Blue Cats, All Points West German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue and Mile High Weim Rescue. Brooke shares her home with her husband, 3 children, her canine & feline kids and reptiles.

Stephanie

Veterinary Assistant

Stephanie joined Ridgewood Animal Hospital in 2023 after relocating from Wisconsin—and she’s been loving life in our community ever since! With over seven years of experience in the veterinary field, Stephanie brings a deep passion for animal care and a calm, compassionate presence to every visit. Whether she’s assisting during exams or comforting a nervous pet, Stephanie is dedicated to making every pet feel safe and every owner feel confident in their care.

Riley

Veterinary Assistant

Riley joined the Ridgewood team in the Summer of 2025 after relocating from Florida. She is passionate about keeping pets happy and healthy. She shares her home with two dogs, three cats and a rat. She loves spending time exploring the outdoors.

Danielle

Client Service Representative

Danielle has been a dedicated part-time team member in the veterinary field for over five years. You’ll often find her at the front desk on weekends and helping out during the summer months while she’s on break from her full-time role as a kindergarten teacher.

Her warm, friendly demeanor makes her a favorite among clients and their pets alike. When she’s not working or teaching, Danielle enjoys unwinding with a good book, solving puzzles, and spending quality time with her beloved four-legged companions.

Debbie

Client Service Representative

With over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field, Debbie has been a valued member of the Ridgewood Animal Hospital team since 2015. Her lifelong passion for animal care, especially for rescue pets, has been the driving force behind her career. Having adopted several rescues over the years, Debbie brings deep compassion and personal insight to her role, making her a trusted resource for pet owners and their beloved animals.

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She’s an avid supporter of community animal events and never misses a chance to cheer on her favorite team—the Texas Longhorns—or unwind with a good Netflix series.
