Monica K. Campos, DVM


Owner/Veterinarian

A Colorado Springs native, Dr. Monica Campos graduated in 1997 from with a B.S. in Microbiology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2001 from Colorado State University. Following vet, school Dr. Monica returned to the Colorado Springs and has lived and worked in the area for 15yrs. In 2014 Dr. Monica purchased Ridgewood Animal Hospital. Dr. Monica is very active in the local veterinary community currently serving as Board President of Harley’s Hope a local non-profit helping pets with medical needs. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Colorado Veterinary Medical Association and the Colorado Springs Area Veterinary Society.

Dr. Monica likes to fill her free time traveling and spending time with friends, family, and her beloved dachshunds.


Tracy, CVT


Certified Veterinary Technician

Tracy worked as a veterinary technician at Ridgewood Animal Hospital for 11 years under the ownership of Dr. Janet Christy and continues as a part of the Ridgewood team under Dr. Monica Campos’ ownership. Tracy has a deep interest in companion animal nutrition and behavior. Tracy enjoys expanding her knowledge by attending continuing education courses. Tracy has a passion for all things furry and a few things feathered; like her parrot that is over 35 years old. She retired in May 2021 but continues to help with relief work when she isn’t traveling.


Brooke, RVT


Registered Veterinary Technician

Brooke is originally from Northern Colorado and joined Ridgewood Animal Hospital in 2015. Brooke has always loved animals and decided to pursue a career in the veterinary field, accomplishing that goal in 2010 when she graduated with her certification as a Veterinarian Technician. Brooke is an active foster for Wild Blue Cats, All Points West German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue and Mile High Weim Rescue. Brooke shares her home with her husband, 3 children, her canine & feline kids and reptiles.
